First Time for Everything – Canadian National Champion in Elite.
Home course, home crowd, what a race!! I can say I am pretty happy to win my first Elite Women’s National Champion title on home turf in Southern Ontario, Canada. Definitely felt a little frustrated with how the Sudbury Canada Cup went last weekend after flatting out of contention on lap 1 plus, this was also a major goal in my season.
I came prepared to make the most of the 5 laps and I hit the throttle from the word go never looking back until I crossed that finish line. I am really happy with my team Trek Factory Racing, my coaching (WFP) and there is always a major collaborative effort behind the scenes on all levels to achieve today’s result. Next up ANDORRA World Cup but this time in a white kit! Thank you everyone for you amazing support!
Enjoy the pictures, Emily.

The famous rock launch/jump on the course.
The course was both physically, technically and mentally demanding. #focus
My friends and family came out in full force to support, they even hoisted this 30 foot flag in the air.
After 5 laps, I finally won my first Elite National Championships.
